Across the World...

.. my love is come. :) (well, soon to do so)

This post will be short, but I wanted to do it now as I'm unsure as to whether I have time to post more later at work (yes, working this Saturday unfortunately).

First of all, I apologize for the missing header graphic (orchids & "mysterious eyes") and radioblog. It will be up again soon.. (I hope).

Second, work's been crazy because of the upcoming culinary event my company's organising... I'd been assigned to assist the events management department with it.. lots of tension and stress.

Third, dance has been going well, beading for the fringe of my new costume has commenced, might get some pics of the beading-in-progress up one day soon.

Last (but perhaps most important), F is arriving in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon... I'm so happy. :) We're going to spend a blissful first weekend away alone somewhere. Hopefully uninterrupted...

In the meantime I leave you, my dear readers, with these links:

Experiences of an English teacher in Japan: "Ok, so I'm an assistant teacher in three Japanese middle schools. You know what's kind of funny though? Some kids can't say "Good morning", but damn near all of them can ask if I have a big dick. Or, "bigu dikku" in Engrish."

Mythology and Symbolism in Middle Eastern Dance: An interesting paper on MED, better known as bellydancing, which I haven't finished reading yet, but would like to share.

Outrageous EBay Auctions: A blog on precisely what it implies. People are willing to bid on some very odd things.
